Communities In Schools National President and CEO, Rey Saldaña, spoke with WBBM Newsradio about our organization’s efforts to re-engage Chicago Public Schools students as the district returns to in-person learning.
Mr. Saldaña shared with Nancy Harty how CIS of Chicago is seeing an increased need for wraparound services. This year, CIS is working in 175 Chicago Public Schools to support students with their academics, attendance, behavior, and social-emotional learning so that they can stay on the path to graduation.
