Chief Innovation and Communications Officer Bart St. John chatted with WBBM’s Bernie Tafoya about CIS of Chicago’s expanded support for the 2022-23 school year. CIS of Chicago will serve 70,000 students in 200 Chicago Public Schools, about a third of all public schools in the city, St. John said.
Our organization helps with everything from ensuring that students receive college and career prep to arts experiences, as well as direct mental health assistance, St. John said. In addition, nearly 100% of students CIS works with directly every year have either been promoted or graduated.
